Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-06-27 · Version 2026-06-27
1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of Tether (the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Tetherlab is the trading name. The Service is operated jointly by two sole proprietorships registered in the Netherlands:
- CN Web Studios (KVK 99906155) · Ciprian Nitipir
- Orcha AI Solutions (KVK 99897121) · David Vasilescu
“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to these entities, operated by Ciprian Nitipir and David Vasilescurespectively. “You” and “your” refer to the individual or organization using the Service.
2. Description of the service
Tether is an AI-native coordination layer for multi-agent coding teams. A hosted “master” coordinates AI coding agents, and a command-line “shim” wraps each agent so it submits a plan before it acts. The master returns continue, stop, or revert so concurrent agents do not collide on the same code. Tether is a paid software-as-a-service subscription.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Workspaces are shared surfaces. The workspace owner controls membership, billing, and deletion. Inviting a teammate gives that person access to the workspace and the coordination data within it.
4. Subscriptions, billing & the Team plan
The Service is sold on the Team plan: a per-seat subscription billed monthly or annually. New teams start with a 14-day free trial. Orcha AI Solutions bills the subscription through Stripe; by subscribing you authorize recurring charges for your seats at the then-current price until you cancel.
Prices, seat counts, and the billing cycle are shown at checkout and on your billing page. We may change prices for a future renewal term and will give you notice before a price change takes effect. Applicable taxes are added where required.
5. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund partial periods. The 14-day trial is the risk-free window to decide whether the Service fits your team.
6. Self-serve limit & larger teams
Self-serve sign-up supports up to 5 seats. Teams that need more than 5 seats arrange terms with us on a sales call. Book one at /book and we will set up the right plan for your size.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to build, train, or benchmark a competing coordination product.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the Service except where the law expressly allows it.
- Submit code or content you have no right to process, or that infringes a third party's rights.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to break the law or violate a third party's rights.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or puts the Service or other customers at risk.
8. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your code and content. We claim no ownership over it. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your code and the coordination data it generates only as needed to provide the Service to you.
The Service itself, including the master, the shim, the dashboard, and our branding, remains our intellectual property and that of our licensors. All rights we do not expressly grant are reserved.
9. Data the agents send to Tether
To coordinate your agents, the shim submits structured data to the master: the plans and “intents” your agents produce, the concepts and code-graph metadata derived from your repository, and the diffs needed to detect conflicts. We process this data to run the coordination and verification features. We do not sell it. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Warranties & disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Tether coordinates AI agents; it does not guarantee that a coordinated change is correct, conflict-free, or safe to merge. You remain responsible for reviewing and testing the code your agents and your team ship.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred euros (EUR 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; there, our liability is limited to the maximum the law permits.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new “last updated” date and version number, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
